Private Label Wooden Pet Furniture
Take a design that is already tooled and in production, put your brand on it, and ship retail-ready. MOQ is 100 pcs per design for the product and 300 pcs where you want a custom-printed colour box. Samples take 10-15 days, production approx. 30-45 days. Branding covers the logo, a Pantone-matched colourway, the retail carton, hang tag, manual and FNSKU or EAN labelling.
There is no development cost and no tooling, because the structure already exists. 42 designs are published on this site and the export catalogue holds more.
Branding options and what each costs
Setup charges are one-off; per-unit figures are added to the FOB price. Published so you can budget a launch rather than discover the packaging line item after the product is quoted.
| Option | One-off setup | Per unit | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Laser-engraved logo on wood | None | +$0.15–0.40 | Cleanest option on solid wood; no colour to mismatch. |
| Silk-screen printed logo | $50-150 per colour screen or plate for logo printing | +$0.10–0.30 | One screen per colour. Best on flat painted surfaces. |
| Woven label on cushion | $40–90 per design | +$0.12–0.35 | Label MOQ is usually 500 pcs from the label supplier. |
| Metal or wooden nameplate | $80–200 | +$0.35–1.10 | Highest perceived value; adds an assembly step. |
| Printed retail colour box | $150–400 plate cost | +$1.00–2.20 | Printer MOQ is 300 pcs — the one real MOQ constraint in private label. |
| Hang tag + care card | $50–120 | +$0.08–0.25 | Usually printed together to share a plate. |
| Assembly manual, multilingual | $60–150 | +$0.10–0.30 | We draw it from the CAD if you have no artwork. |
| FNSKU / EAN barcode labelling | None | +$0.05–0.15 | Applied and scan-verified at OQC before the carton is sealed. |
The cheapest credible branding on solid wood is laser engraving plus a printed hang tag: no plate cost, no print MOQ, and it survives the shelf better than a sticker. Move to a printed colour box once a design has proven it sells — not before, because the 300-piece print minimum is what usually strands inventory on a first launch.

A realistic launch sequence
The dashed bar is yours. Everything else is ours, and we can commit to it — but the approx. 30-45 days production clock does not start until the golden sample and colour drawdown come back signed. Slow approval is the single most common cause of a missed ship date, and it is the one stage we cannot compress for you.
-
Select designsWeek 1
Pick three or four designs from the catalogue rather than one. A mixed container spreads the risk of a single design not selling, and the 300 pcs total across mixed designs minimum is built for exactly this.
-
Confirm spec and send artworkWeek 1-2
Colourway, fabric, logo placement and packaging artwork together. Artwork sent late is the most common cause of a delayed private label launch — colour-box plates take 7-10 days on their own.
-
Branded sample10-15 days
Sample carries your logo, your colourway and a packaging mock-up so you can photograph it for listings before the container ships.
-
Productionapprox. 30-45 days
From signed sample and deposit. Barcode labels applied and scan-verified at OQC.
-
Inspection and shipment2-3 days + transit
100% final inspection, AQL sampling on packed cartons, loading photographs, then FOB Guangzhou or Shenzhen — or direct to an FBA warehouse or prep centre.
Private label questions
What is the MOQ for private label?
100 pcs per design; 300 pcs for custom-printed retail cartons. The 100-piece figure is our production minimum; the 300-piece figure comes from the carton printer, not from us. If you want a custom colour box below 300 pcs, the usual workaround is a plain carton with a printed wrap or a large label — that keeps the branded shelf presence without triggering the print minimum.
Can I use my own Pantone colour?
Yes. Pantone (TPG / TCX) or a supplied physical chip. A colour drawdown is sent for signature before mass production. Note that matching on open-grain oak and ash is approximate — the grain shows through the coat, so the drawdown has to be signed against the actual species you are ordering.
Will my design be sold to anyone else?
The base design stays factory-owned unless exclusivity is agreed in writing on the order. Modifications developed specifically for you — a changed dimension, a bespoke colourway, your hardware — are not offered to other buyers. If you need category exclusivity in a territory, ask for it at quotation stage; it is normally granted against an annual volume commitment.
Do you supply Amazon FBA-ready packaging?
Yes. FNSKU labels are applied and scan-verified before the carton is sealed, cartons are labelled to FBA requirements, and we can ship direct to an FBA warehouse or to your prep centre. Send the FNSKU PDF and the shipment plan with the order.
How long does private label take?
Sampling 10-15 days, then approx. 30-45 days of production. Packaging artwork is the usual delay — colour-box plates take 7-10 days and cannot start until artwork is approved, so send artwork at the same time as the order rather than after the sample.
What artwork format do you need?
Vector AI, EPS or PDF with fonts outlined, in CMYK, with 3 mm bleed. For a logo alone, a vector file or a high-resolution PNG on a transparent background is enough. We supply the dieline for the carton once the final packed dimensions are fixed at sample stage.
Can I mix private label designs in one container?
Yes — 300 pcs total across mixed designs, minimum 100 pcs of each design. This is how most retailers launch: three or four branded designs in one container rather than 300 units of a single item that may not sell.
