How buyers work with us
If you have finished drawings, that is OEM. If you want to start from a design we already tooled and change it, that is ODM. If you only need our design carrying your brand and packaging, that is private label. Most first orders are ODM, because it skips development cost and reaches a container fastest.
| OEM | ODM | Private Label | |
|---|---|---|---|
| You supply | Your drawings, CAD files or a physical reference sample | Selection from existing in-house designs, then modified | Your logo, colourway, packaging artwork and barcodes |
| We supply | Engineering review, DFM feedback, tooling, production, QC and packaging | Existing tooling and patterns, dimension / finish / fabric changes, your branding | Logo application, custom colour matching, retail-ready cartons, manual and labels |
| Design ownership | Buyer owns the design | Factory owns the base design; modifications can be made exclusive to the buyer on request | Buyer owns the brand; the design stays factory-owned unless exclusivity is agreed |
| MOQ | 100 pcs per design | 100 pcs per design | 100 pcs per design; 300 pcs for custom-printed retail cartons |
| Sample lead time | 15-20 days | 7-10 days | 10-15 days |
| Best for | Brands with an in-house design team and a fixed product spec | Buyers who need a catalogue quickly without paying for development | Retailers, distributors and e-commerce sellers building a house brand |

Materials we build in
Species choice is a cost and weight decision before it is an aesthetic one. Pine is the default frame material; paulownia cuts freight weight; rubberwood and beech carry load and carving.
| Species | Density | Where it is used |
|---|---|---|
| New Zealand pine | 400-500 kg/m³ | Default frame material. Light, stable, takes paint evenly, lowest cost. |
| Paulownia | 260-330 kg/m³ | Lightest option - cuts air-freight and shelf weight, but lower screw retention. |
| Rubberwood | 560-640 kg/m³ | Harder; used for load-bearing legs and stair treads. |
| Beech | 680-750 kg/m³ | Premium turned parts, Roman columns and carved detail. |
| Ash / Oak | 650-760 kg/m³ | Open-grain premium finish for natural and oiled looks. |
Timber is kiln-dried and held at 8-12% moisture content before machining. Above 14% the joints move in dry heated interiors and the finish cracks within one winter. Full comparison including cost and finish behaviour: choosing a wood species for pet furniture.

How quality is actually controlled
Four inspection stages, not a slogan. Every unit passes final inspection; packed cartons are then sampled at AQL 2.5 major / 4.0 minor under ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 (ISO 2859-1), General Inspection Level II.
IQC — Incoming inspection
Moisture content, board thickness, warp, fabric weight and colour against the approved swatch
IPQC — In-process patrol
Cut dimensions, joint fit, sanding grit and drill positions - checked every 2 hours per line
FQC — Final inspection
100% of units - structural stability, finish defects, hardware count, fitting-bag completeness
OQC — Pre-shipment sampling
AQL sampling on packed cartons, carton drop test, labelling and barcode scan
Static load held for 10 minutes on the sleeping surface and on each shelf. A shelf rated for 8 kg is loaded to 24 kg and must show no joint separation and no permanent deflection above 3 mm.
Method · Static load, 10 min hold
Every unit is checked before packing; packed cartons are then sampled at AQL 2.5 major / 4.0 minor. Buyer-appointed inspection (SGS, BV, Intertek, TUV, QIMA) is accepted at any stage; the factory books the date and provides the packing list.
Method · ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 (ISO 2859-1), General Inspection Level II
Load-bearing parts are tested to 3x rated capacity: A shelf rated for 8 kg is loaded to 24 kg and must show no joint separation and no permanent deflection above 3 mm. Dimensional tolerance is Plus or minus 2 mm on assembled external dimensions; plus or minus 0.5 mm on drilled hole positions. Full inspection procedure.
Packing and container loading
Almost everything ships knock-down. Flat packing cuts shipping volume by 55-65%, which on a full container is usually a larger saving than any unit-price negotiation.
Ocean freight on pet furniture is charged on volume, not weight — the box fills up before it gets heavy. On a full container the flat-pack saving is usually larger than anything available on the ex-works price, and unlike a price cut it does not come out of the product.
| Container | Knock-down | Assembled |
|---|---|---|
| 20' GP | 300-450 pcs | 110-160 pcs |
| 40' GP | 650-900 pcs | 230-330 pcs |
| 40' HQ | 800-1,200 pcs | 280-400 pcs |

Questions buyers ask before the first order
Are you a factory or a trading company?
A factory. Production runs in 4,500 m² of workshop space in Lecong Town, Shunde District, Foshan, on 3 lines with 60 staff. Buyers and third-party inspectors are welcome on site, and inspection can be booked at any production stage.
What is your minimum order quantity?
We accept OEM and ODM orders, with a minimum order quantity of 100 pieces per design. Mixed-design container orders start from 300 pieces total, with at least 100 pieces of each design.
What products do you manufacture?
Solid wood and wood-panel furniture for cats and small dogs: beds and sofas, climbing shelves and steps, wardrobes and clothes racks, storage baskets and hampers, feeding stands, room dividers and playpens. 42 designs are published on this site; the export catalogue holds more.
Which markets do you already ship to?
United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Australia, United Arab Emirates. Documentation is issued to suit each destination, including the test reports listed on the compliance page.
How long does the whole process take, from first enquiry to shipment?
Roughly 8 to 12 weeks for a new customer: quotation in 24 hours, sampling 10-15 days, your approval time, then approx. 30-45 days of production plus 2-3 days of inspection. Repeat orders on an approved design skip the sampling stage.
Can you produce a design that does not exist yet?
Yes. Send drawings, CAD files, a reference photo or a physical sample. The engineering review returns manufacturability feedback and a cost breakdown before any tooling is committed. Wooden parts are CNC-cut from drawings, so there is no mould cost — only $0-200 per new design (waived on orders above 300 pcs) of setup, waived above 300 pcs.
What certifications and testing can you provide?
The workshop operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality system, and BSCI social audits are arranged on request. Product testing to CA Prop 65, CPSIA, REACH SVHC, EN 71-3 and EN 717-1 is arranged through accredited laboratories, with reports issued in the buyer's name.
Do you publish prices?
No, because unit cost moves with wood species, finish system, fabric, quantity and packaging — the same design can differ by more than 40% between specifications. The cost breakdown page explains each driver, and a quotation with a bill-of-materials arrives within 24 hours.
